Higher low (HL)

A swing low whose price is above the preceding comparable swing low.

Higher lows show that a selected pullback ended above an earlier selected trough. They are commonly considered alongside higher highs when describing rising structure.

If successive selected troughs occur at 95 and 98, the second is a higher low relative to the first.

The label depends on swing selection, and another rise does not have to follow.
