Trading sessions
The trading day is usually described in three sessions, Asia, London and New York, that overlap as the world wakes up.
The forex market runs from Sunday evening to Friday evening New York time, with no daily close in between.
The busiest hours are where London and New York are both open. Spreads are usually tightest then and widest in the quiet hours.
Also called: market hours, London session, New York session
