Expert Advisor
An Expert Advisor is a program attached to a MetaTrader chart that can place and manage orders automatically.
It runs only while the platform is open and connected, and only while automated trading is switched on. Close the platform and it stops.
An EA does exactly what it was written to do, including at times nobody thought about. It is not judgement, and it cannot know what the market will do next.
